In short
An AI chatbot for a hotel, guesthouse, B&B or holiday rental answers the questions guests ask before and after they book: check-in and check-out times, parking, pets, breakfast, cancellation policy, how to get there. Nexoply answers only from the information you give it or import from your website, and says so when it doesn't know. It replies in 12 languages, links to your own booking page, phone or WhatsApp, and is added with one line of code.
- Answers check-in, parking, pet, breakfast and policy questions at any hour, including at night when reception is closed.
- Replies in 12 languages: guests who write in another of them get answers in that language.
- Uses only your own information, imported from your website and approved by you.
- Links to your booking page, phone or WhatsApp; it doesn't take bookings or payments and can't see room availability.
- Free plan with 50 conversations a month; works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow or custom HTML.
Why hotels and holiday rentals use an AI chatbot
Guests plan trips in the evening and across time zones, and they ask the same things again and again. What time is check-in? Is there parking? Can I bring my dog? Is breakfast included? In a small hotel or guesthouse, the person who could answer is often busy at the desk, cleaning rooms or asleep.
An AI chatbot on your website answers those questions from your own information: your house rules, amenities, policies and directions. When a guest is ready to book, it sends them to the booking page you already use, or to your phone or WhatsApp. The same works for guesthouses, B&Bs, inns, hostels, campsites and holiday apartments.
Nexoply isn't a live-chat inbox you have to watch. It replies on its own from your information only, and every conversation is saved in your dashboard. What information to add
The assistant can only be as complete as the information behind it. A checklist for a hotel, B&B or holiday rental:
- Room types or units, with capacity, beds and main amenities, and “from” prices if you publish them.
- Check-in and check-out times, reception hours, late arrival and key collection.
- House rules: quiet hours, smoking, parties, visitors, minimum age.
- Pet, children and extra bed policies.
- Cancellation, deposit and payment policies for direct bookings.
- Breakfast, restaurant, bar, pool, spa, gym or other facilities, with opening hours.
- Parking, directions, public transport and airport transfers.
- Wi-Fi, luggage storage, laundry, accessibility.
- Your booking link, phone, WhatsApp and email, and when each is answered.
- Local tips you're happy to share: beaches, restaurants, walks, events.
International guests: answers in 12 languages
Hotels and holiday rentals get more foreign-language questions than most small businesses. Nexoply answers in 12 languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Korean. You pick the main language; guests who write in another of these get answers in that language.
You write your information once, in your own language. A guest from Germany who asks about parking in German gets an answer in German, based on what you wrote. Questions in a language outside these 12 aren't covered.
Bookings and availability: how the assistant hands off
Many conversations end with “Do you have a room?” or “How do I book?”. Nexoply doesn't take bookings, reservations or payments, and it doesn't connect to a booking engine, property management system or channel manager. It can't see which rooms are free or what tonight's rate is. Its job is everything around the booking: answering questions so the guest is confident, then sending them to the place where they can book.
- Add your booking link to your information. When a guest asks how to book, the assistant gives that link, your phone number or your WhatsApp, exactly as you wrote them.
- Put booking on the start screen. Start-screen buttons such as “Book your stay”, “Call reception” or “WhatsApp” take guests straight there, before they type anything.
- Say how availability and rates work. Add a line such as “For availability and prices on your dates, please use our booking page”. Questions about specific dates then get a clear answer instead of a guess.
- Existing bookings. The assistant can't see or change reservations. Tell it who handles changes, cancellations and special requests, for example “email reception at…” or “call us”.
- Bookings made on other platforms. If guests book through a booking platform, write how they should contact you about those stays.
How to set it up
Create a free account
Sign up free. No AI key and no technical setup; Nexoply runs the AI.
Import your website
Enter your website address. Nexoply reads your public pages, including room and policy pages, and suggests services, prices, FAQs, policies and hours.
Review and complete
Check every policy and add what your website doesn't say: late arrival instructions, pet fees, parking details, who handles booking changes.
Make it look like your property
Match your colors and logo, choose a round button or a side tab that says “Help” or “Questions?”, and add start-screen buttons like “Book your stay”, “Call reception” and “WhatsApp”. The live preview shows the result.
Paste one line of code
Copy the install code into your site's footer, just before </body>. See the WordPress guide or the Wix guide.
<script src="https://nexoply.com/widget.js" data-chatbot="YOUR-KEY" async></script>Open your site, ask a question, and check it appears under Conversations. Changes you make later, such as new breakfast hours, appear on your website within about a minute. The full setup is described in how Nexoply works.
Reviewing conversations and improving answers
Every conversation is saved in your dashboard, so you can read what guests asked and what the assistant replied. The assistant is instructed to say when it doesn't know rather than guess; like any AI it isn't perfect, which is why reviewing conversations matters.
- Questions it couldn't answer are listed, and you can turn the useful ones into FAQs in one click. Ferry times, a nearby supermarket or bike rental often show up here.
- Topics and busiest times show what guests want to know and when they ask.
- Pages where the chat was opened show which room or policy pages raise questions.
- PDF export lets you share conversations with your team.

Frequently asked questions
Can the chatbot take room bookings or payments?
No. Nexoply doesn't take bookings, reservations or payments. It answers questions about your property and policies, then links to your booking page, phone or WhatsApp, where the booking happens.
Does it connect to my booking engine, PMS or channel manager?
No. Nexoply has no connection to booking engines, property management systems or channel managers. It works alongside them: it answers questions from your information and sends guests to your booking page.
Can it tell guests whether a room is free on their dates?
No, because it can't see your availability. Add a line such as “For availability and prices on your dates, please use our booking page” and it will send guests there.
Which languages does it answer in?
In 12 languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Korean. You pick the main language, and guests who write in another of these get answers in that language.
Can guests change or cancel an existing reservation in the chat?
No. The assistant can't see or change reservations. Tell it how guests should contact you for changes, for example by email or phone, and it will pass that on.
Is it a live chat for my reception team?
No. Nexoply isn't a live-chat inbox for human agents. It answers on its own from your information, and you review the conversations in the dashboard afterwards.
Does it work on my hotel's WordPress or Wix site?
Yes. It works on any site where you can add a script tag, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow and custom HTML. Wix needs a premium plan with a connected domain for custom code.
